Class 1: Seeing Through Structure and Line

Exploring the fundamentals of observation and proportion — learning to see underlying forms and build drawings that feel solid and balanced through watercolor.

Class 2: Mass and the Space Around It

Focusing on the perception of masses, volumes, and negative shapes. This session develops the ability to see relationships between forms, simplifying complex subjects into light and shadow, shape and space.

Class 3: Light, Value, and the Role of Tone

Understanding how light defines form. Exercises will combine drawing and transparent layers of watercolor to explore tonal relationships and chiaroscuro.

Introducing color as both a structural and expressive element. We’ll work with limited palettes to explore harmony, contrast, and how color can guide composition and mood.


Class 5: Integration — From Study to Expression

Bringing all the concepts together in a more personal, resolved work. This final class focuses on interpretation, composition, and developing your individual visual language
