STATION

From the series East/Ouest. East/Ouest was inspired by Japanese Ukiyo-e prints as well as Italian Renaissance paintings and frescoes. In Station I wanted the figures to appear as if they are waiting for something, perhaps a train. Also, I intend to show the figures as solid and three dimensional, though standing in a flattened, decorative space.
