Artemis and the Aloeids

The Aloeids were twin brothers and giants who found Artemis, goddess of the hunt, in the form of a doe, and chased her into an open space to capture her. They positioned themselves on either side of her, unable to see each other, and just as they threw their spears she leapt aside and they hit each other instead, each one dying by the other’s hand.
